## Description

The Defense Sector at Leidos has an opportunity for a Site Operations, Junior System Administrator in Clarksburg, WV. This role provides Systems Administration support services for the DoW ABIS 24x7 Operations Team.

Responsibilities:

- Operate in a shift-work environment

- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, software and hardware upgrades, and general maintenance of servers and peripherals

- Perform general systems operations, administration, maintenance, documentation, and reporting

- Collaborate with outside organizations to resolve trouble tickets

- Provide technical support for software issues encountered by users

- Manage client-based computer operating systems

- Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns

- Create and verify backups of data

- Respond to and resolve help desk requests

- Upgrade systems and processes as required

- Support infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, and malware protection software

- Review application logs

- Install and test computer-related equipment

- Update systems documentation

- Perform systems performance monitoring, systems availability monitoring, and patching

Basic Qualifications:

- High School Diploma with 1 or more years of related experience

- Ability to troubleshoot networking, Linux and Windows operating systems

- Fully proficient in the use of PCs and all programs included in the Microsoft Office application suite

- Active DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance

- Current Security+ certification or be able to obtain Security+ and environmental (Windows, Linux, AWS) certifications as per DOD 8570 within 6 months of hire date

- Must be able to obtain DOJ approval to access the FBI Campus - CJIS Site, in Clarksville, WV

Preferred Qualifications:

- Active DOD Secret Clearance

- Current IT security or technical certifications

- Linux experience

- Experience with AWS cloud services and automation
