## Description

The Boeing Company, specifically the Chinook program within Boeing Defense Space and Security, is seeking an Associate Structural Analysis Engineer to support the Chinook cargo helicopter. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with good verbal and written communication skills, able to balance customer needs with the time required for structural analysis and report writing.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements to establish the system design.

- Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment.

- Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools.

- Develop test plans and configurations, support test execution, and analyze/report test results.

- Define and document certification and test results for customers and regulatory agencies.

- Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.

- Experience working with Freebody diagrams, structural sizing, and/or finite element models/simulations.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences).

- 1+ years of engineering experience or a Master's degree.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
