**Job Details:**

- £13.24 per hour

- Part-time, 15 hours per week

- Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm (including occasional night shift cover)

- On-call rota

- Location: Hull, HU9 3DQ (including travel in Hull & Scunthorpe areas)

**Responsibilities:**

- Collect the deceased from various locations and scenarios in a professional and empathetic manner

- Bear coffins on the day of the funeral and drive funeral vehicles

- Maintain the cleanliness of equipment and facilities, including vehicles

- Prepare coffins and engrave name plates

- Prepare the deceased for viewings and funerals

- Maintain client management applications daily, inputting detailed and timely information

- Safely lift, carry, and move coffins following safe techniques and health and safety guidance

**Requirements:**

- Full UK manual driving licence

- Ability to perform physical aspects of the role (manual lifting)

- Good IT skills and confidence to use various technology devices

- Ability to react calmly and compassionately in emotional circumstances

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
