## Description

We are seeking a Customer Service Agent to assist passengers requiring special assistance throughout their airport journey at Manchester Airport.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Collecting passengers from their arrival point at the airport to escort them through security, passport control and onwards to their boarding gate

- Ensuring wheelchairs are replenished and well distributed throughout the terminals and storage points

- Collecting arriving passengers from the aircraft, taking them through immigration, passport control and onwards to the baggage hall to identify their baggage

- Greeting passengers, asking what assistance is required, explaining the process to the passenger and preparing them for airport procedures

- Assisting passengers that are transferring flights

- Communicating to the control and supervisor team, recording any additional passengers

- Liaising with the control and supervisor team, airline and handling agents during delays or disruption to ensure that passengers are kept up to date

- Using equipment safely and professionally

- Providing manual lifting assistance as required

- Recording progress of the passenger using the Personal Digital Assistant issued

- Being responsible for all Company equipment issued on a daily basis

- Completing an incident/Accident Report for any issue encountered, including any near miss events

- Providing legendary service to all passengers

- Wearing uniform correctly

- Following correct sign in/out process

- Carrying out any reasonable task requested

The ideal candidate will have:

- Previous experience of primarily working within Customer Services, ideally in a customer-facing role

- Excellent communication skills

- The right to work in the UK

- Ability to pass a DBS check

- Ability to provide 5 years reference information

- Be over 18 years of age
