## Description

Shield AI is a venture-backed defense-tech company with the mission of protecting service members and civilians with intelligent systems.

You will contribute to the design of aircraft motor drives, power electronics, and controls. Your responsibilities include:

- Designing high-voltage power electronics circuits and integrating them with motors and controls

- Executing hands-on circuit verification and dyno testing

- Being responsible for schematic capture, modeling, simulation, analysis, and testing

- Engaging cross-functionally with software, mechanical, embedded, CAD, production, users, and other relevant teams

- Executing qualification and reliability campaigns, and debugging and root-causing failures

- Helping develop automated production test solutions

To qualify, you need:

- A B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

- 2+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer

- Experience with circuit design, schematic capture, component selection, circuit testing, and debugging

- A demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others

- Familiarity with Altium or equivalent

- Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, E-loads, multimeters, etc.

The salary range for this position is USD 145,000-218,000 per year. As a full-time regular employee, you will receive a comprehensive offer package including pay within the range listed + bonus + benefits + equity.
