## Description

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the development and testing of hardware components for boxer engines, V-engines, and gearboxes, as well as the integration of the drivetrain into the vehicle. You will also be responsible for the periphery systems related to combustion engines/hybrid, such as motor electronics (sensors, actuators, control units, HV inverters), cooling, and heat protection (components and control unit functions).

Your key areas of focus will include:

- Component and system development of sensors, actuators, and control units

- Questions between concept and series production for existing and new vehicle projects

- Project tasks around existing or new electrical components and systems

- Component testing on test stands and in the vehicle

- Data acquisition and analysis

The internship will start in March/April and September/October and last for 4-6 months.

To be eligible for this internship, you should have:

- A place of study in engineering with a focus on mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable course of study (at least in the third semester or in the gap year between bachelor's and master's degree)

- Knowledge in the field of electronics or mechatronics

- Basic knowledge of software and programming is helpful

- Basic knowledge of engine drive is advantageous

- Team and communication skills

- Independent and structured way of working, as well as flexibility

- Practical experience is desirable

- Secure handling of MS Office

- Very good German and good English language skills (at least B2)
