## Description

3M is seeking Fabrication Operator candidates for 3M Indianapolis, Indiana.

As a Fabrication Operator I, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. You will make an impact by:

- Maintaining standards for all materials and products

- Maintaining all products for proper testing and receiving

- Maintaining communication with production coworkers and supervisors

- Maintaining quality & safety standards

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this 3M Production role, in compliance with U.S. labor and safety laws

- Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher

- Minimum three (3) months of previous experience of operating production machinery

- Working 8–10-hour shifts, overtime, extended hours, weekend, holidays (as needed), and short notice shift coverage

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

- Basic computer knowledge

- Ability to read a blueprint

- Knowledge of inventory systems

- 6 months to 1 year of operating production machinery

The starting rate of pay for this position is $21.37. New hires start with 3 weeks paid vacation. Health, vision and dental start day one. Employee stock discount. 401K Match of 5%.
