## Description

We are seeking a Sales Manager, Data and Feeds, Japan to lead our sales team in Tokyo.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of sales specialists to achieve and beat the regional gross-sales target.

Key responsibilities include:

- Achieving and beating the sales target for the given business line

- Managing the sales team across the region, including hiring, onboarding, training, and sales operations

- Creating, communicating, and executing sales strategies

- Collaborating with other sales, account management, and product leaders

- Actively contributing to client engagements and helping to open and close deals

- Being the subject matter expert on the business – both the products and the addressable market

The ideal candidate will have:

- 4+ years leading a sales team in a SaaS or financial data business addressing the financial sector

- 10+ years’ experience in a client-facing role, with direct sales experience a strong plus

- Domain expertise in market data

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Experience coordinating with various business functions to ‘own’ the growth of a business
