## Description

Electronic Arts is seeking a Senior Core Software Engineer to join the Battlefield Studios team in Montreal. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing high-quality and maintainable code in C++, optimizing for CPU performance and memory usage, and low-level understanding of the console and PC platforms.

As a Senior Core Software Engineer, you will be part of ensuring the studio and live titles adopt new technology and improve the way we work. You will work with leading industry talent in one of the world's largest and leading game development communities.

Responsibilities:

- Write high-quality and maintainable code in C++

- Optimize for CPU performance and memory usage

- Low-level understanding of the console and PC platforms

- Debug difficult bugs

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

- Experience with C++

- Experience with optimizing for CPU performance and memory usage

- Experience with low-level programming

- Experience debugging difficult bugs

- Motivated to achieve with an eye towards quality

- Good communicator
