## Description

We're looking for a UX Designer to join our team at Vattenfall Europe Sales GmbH in Berlin. As a UX Designer, you will connect business requirements, user needs, and technological possibilities to create intuitive digital experiences. You will accompany ideas from the first hypothesis to successful launch, working closely with various departments, content, design, and development teams to shape Vattenfall's digital customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- You will be responsible for end-to-end topics, from requirements analysis to implementation on the website or app.

- You will translate complex requirements into intuitive user experiences, clear information architectures, and well-thought-out user journeys.

- You will question existing solutions, identify optimisation potentials, and bring new perspectives.

- You will moderate discovery processes, develop hypotheses, and create reliable decision-making foundations.

- You will work in cross-functional teams and bring different stakeholders together around a common vision.

- You will continuously develop the design system, CMS components, and digital patterns, promoting consistent user experiences across all touchpoints.

- You will ensure the quality of digital solutions in terms of usability, accessibility, consistency, brand fit, and technical feasibility.

Our UX team works very independently and collaboratively, with a high degree of creative freedom. Instead of rigid processes, we rely on short decision-making paths, iterative working methods, and close exchange with our stakeholders.

Requirements:

- Several years of experience in UX design for digital products, websites, and apps.

- A solid understanding of user-centred design, information architecture, user flows, interaction patterns, prototyping, and usability testing.

- A background in design and a pronounced sense of visual quality, brand management, digital image worlds, and consistent interface design are advantageous.

- The ability to structure requirements from different areas, critically question them, and translate them into comprehensible, implementable UX solutions.

- A self-organised, responsible, and solution-oriented working style.

- Safe handling of Figma and FigJam, as well as experience in building and further developing design systems, component logics, variants, states, and specifications for development teams.

- Very good German skills for close cooperation with specialist departments, as well as good English skills for communication in the development context.

- A completed university or college degree.

We offer:

- Competitive compensation and continuous training opportunities.

- Flexible working hours (including home office).

- Free drinks and a canteen with food in bio-quality.

- A 37-hour week and 30 days of vacation.

- Free sports and health courses.

- A family-friendly working atmosphere.

- Subsidy of a monthly ticket for public transport (BVG or HVV).
