## Description

SpaceXAI is seeking a Turbine Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot gas turbine generator packages at its power generation facility.

This is a hands-on role where you will inspect running turbine packages, support start-up and shutdown, respond to trips and alarms, restore equipment, and keep generation online.

Responsibilities:

- Operate, inspect, and maintain gas turbine generator packages and associated auxiliaries

- Support turbine start-up, loading, shutdown, cooldown, and turning-gear operations

- Perform daily inspections of turbines and package systems; identify and report issues early

- Troubleshoot and repair operational issues on turbine packages

- Adjust, repair, or replace faulty mechanical, electrical, and controls components

- Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of turbine control systems

- Write, follow, and execute MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs; support lockout/tagout, hot work, confined space, and site safety and environmental requirements

- Support scheduled turbine outages and commissioning

- Read and interpret P&IDs, OEM manuals, schematics, and drawings

Basic Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalency certificate

- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a technician or operator working on gas turbines, rotating equipment, or industrial mechanical, electrical, and/or control systems

Preferred Skills and Experience:

- Experience operating or maintaining gas turbines in a power plant or industrial generation setting

- Experience with turbine auxiliaries and generator systems

- Experience writing and executing MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs

- Experience troubleshooting turbine equipment

- Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

- Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills

Additional Requirements:

- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces

- Must be willing to travel up to 25%

- Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as needed
