## Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Multimatic in Butler, Indiana.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and assisting in accident investigations, planning and directing maintenance activities, and ensuring all company policies are carried out.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and facilitating corrective action and continuous improvement teams

- Scheduling, motivating, and evaluating employee performance

- Coaching associates and completing Conduct and Corrective Action reports as necessary

- Conducting shift meetings to discuss objectives and relay important information

- Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Maintenance department

- Monitoring equipment trends to minimize downtime

- Supporting the skilled trades department and production floor as required

- Approving employee timecards and completing attendance paperwork

The ideal candidate will have:

- Knowledge of OSHA and environmental laws and regulations in Indiana

- Experience with electrical, hydraulics, PLCs, metal fabrication, and industrial equipment

- Proven ability to determine root causes of accidents and implement corrective actions

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and personal computers

- High degree of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information

Education and experience requirements include:

- Technical certificate, associate degree, or skilled trade with two years of experience

- Skilled trades with two years of supervisory/leadership experience or four years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

- Lean manufacturing experience is a plus

- Bachelor's/Associate's degree in Business Management, Operations, or Industrial Leadership is a plus
