## Description

We are seeking a Shift Lead - Food to join our team at Simply Food in Fort William.

The successful candidate will be 18 years of age or older and will work varying shifts including Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

The purpose of the Shift Lead role is to lead the fill operation, delivering a salesfloor that is ready to trade, taking operational responsibility for coordinating resource to Serve, Sell and Fill, and to lead the floor in the absence of the Colleague Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinating resource to deliver operational tasks during the fill operation

- Leading the fill operation, coaching colleagues on One Best Way and driving productivity in readiness for store opening

- Allocating resource effectively to deliver a quick payment experience

- Enabling daily operational processes to be implemented efficiently across their area of the store

- Coordinating the team to deliver a clean, safe, and well-presented store

- Role modelling great Customer Service and M&S behaviours

- Supporting Colleague Managers by sharing observations of colleagues

- Being a key holder and answering call outs as required

- Performing tasks related to the opening and closing of the building

The hourly rate for this role is not specified, however, a £3.00 per hour unsocial premium is added for hours worked between 22:00-06:00.
