## Description

You will be joining our expanding UK Building Structures team as a Growth Director with accountability for developing the Bristol, its surrounding counties, and the southwest strategic pipeline.

The primary focus of this role is to complement the efforts of our P&B Structures team and the P&B delivery teams in the South West and Wales region in their work to meet the business's growth objectives of 10% per annum.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing relationships with client decision-makers and influencers

- Uncovering emerging drivers and trends in the public and private sector

- Understanding client perception of WSP in the region and positioning WSP as a trusted partner of choice

- Identifying significant cross-business opportunities in the region

- Positioning the business for these opportunities and taking the lead on capture planning

- Coordinating local WSP client relationships across disciplines

- Supporting key account managers in the region

- Obtaining regular client feedback from key accounts

- Acting as Project Director on selected projects

Requirements:

- Strong understanding of the external market

- Good awareness of WSP's reputation in the various geographies

- Broad appreciation of WSP's core strengths and differentiators

- High levels of autonomy, agility, and influence

- Ability to establish a strong internal network within the WSP businesses

- Strong network of external contacts within the region and in key sectors

- Understanding of how individual discipline/account priorities align with the wider UK growth agenda

- Ability to gain commitment and buy-in from senior stakeholders

- Excellent inter-personal skills, with good leadership potential

- Chartered Engineer status (MIStructE/AMIStructE/MICE)

- Significant experience of team management responsibilities

- Experience of operating as a lead client contact for consultancy services
