## Description

The Datadog Security design team, also known as K9 Design, is looking for a senior product design manager to lead design across its security products.

This role involves shaping an industry-leading experience for security practitioners who need to detect threats, stop them, and prevent exposures.

You will lead a team of designers across cloud, code, and data security, aiming to turn an overwhelming amount of signal into actionable insights for security teams.

Your goal will be to build a security product that people want to use daily, owning the design, striving for excellence, and partnering closely with Product and Engineering leadership.

### Responsibilities

- Lead design direction across your team's products, ensuring design excellence end-to-end.

- Conduct critiques, provide direct feedback, and encourage bold solutions.

- Coach and grow designers across Paris, Madrid, and New York offices.

- Help define a security design system built on top of Datadog's existing components.

- Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to evolve cross-platform thinking and shape roadmaps.

- Take accountability for product and business outcomes influenced by your team's design work.

- Bring AI fluency to your team's workflow.

### Requirements

- 10+ years in design, including experience leading and growing high-performing teams.

- A design leader who is a user advocate with a sharp eye for detail and strong taste.

- A track record of improving a team's output and transforming product design.

- Experience leading complex products or features.

- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.

- Demonstrated AI fluency.

- Comfortable with the technical complexity of modern software development and cloud infrastructure.

- Security domain experience or a portfolio of information-dense, data-rich interfaces is ideal.
