## Description

You will join the Customer Planning and Insights team at Asda, combining customer behaviour, market intelligence, and internal performance data to deliver actionable insights. Your goal will be to help customer and commercial teams make informed decisions that balance customer needs with sales, margin, and business goals.

**Key Accountabilities:**

- Act as a trusted insight partner to stakeholders, establishing clear ways of working and building credibility

- Develop a deep understanding of category priorities, performance challenges, and growth opportunities

- Integrate internal performance measures with customer behaviour and external market intelligence to inform category direction

- Translate complex data into clear stories, recommendations, and practical actions

- Use consistent templates and frameworks to deliver concise outputs for stakeholders

- Create and present insight reports, dashboards, and bespoke analyses

- Anticipate emerging business needs and highlight opportunities early

- Measure the impact of insight-led initiatives and improve future analysis

- Lead relationships with external agency partners

- Priority decisions are supported by timely, repeatable tools and forward-looking analysis

**Requirements:**

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Experience combining multiple data sources to identify key issues and make evidence-based recommendations

- Strong track record of creating and delivering insight to stakeholders

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Confidence to influence cross-functional and leadership stakeholders

- Strong capability in Excel and PowerPoint, experience with Power BI and analytical environments like Databricks

- Advanced use of customer insight platforms and experience with retail market data and consumer data sources

- Knowledge of the retail industry, competitive dynamics, and market trends

- Proactive, curious, and improvement-focused mindset
