## Description

As an Assistant Store Manager at Telstra's Broken Hill store, you will support store operations by assisting with team coordination and maintaining service standards.

You will handle moderately complex tasks, ensure adherence to operational guidelines, and work independently on defined responsibilities.

This role demonstrates growing autonomy and contributes to a seamless customer experience.

**Responsibilities**

- Oversee the induction of new team members

- Coach the store's team to meet and exceed store targets

- Help support your team with customer query escalations

- Be the Store Manager's right-hand person, stepping up to act as Store Manager when needed

- Executing business initiatives in store to meet financial and customer key metrics

- Act as team cheer leader – leading from the front and helping to motivate the team, and foster an awesome store culture

- Organise the store floor and team's work schedules, to meet customer demand

**About you**

- You have previous experience in a retail leadership / assistant management role

- You're able to energise and drive a retail team to exceed sales targets and KPIs with demonstrated success

- You lead from the front and are able to influence and build rapport with a diverse and varied team

- You're able to resolve customer issues with your eyes closed and can put a creative spin on problem solving

- You're an excellent communicator who can help support the Store Manager in taking team members through change
