## Description

Working as a Starbucks Barista at Target involves providing a consistent and exceptional guest experience. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, greeting guests, and helping them find what they need. Your tasks will include preparing handcrafted beverages and food, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by prioritising their needs and providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience

- Execute food and beverage processes, including replenishment, inventory accuracy, and food safety

- Maintain an inviting dining area and engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations

- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications

- Follow all food safety requirements and complete cleaning tasks

- Locate and identify damaged or recalled items and process according to best practices

- Ensure accurate inventory recording and execute sampling best practices

- Complete all required training requirements and certifications related to quality control of Starbucks products

- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

- Work in a safe manner and comply with all safety policies and training

- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick-up, and Drive-up

Requirements:

- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required

- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members

- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes

- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment

- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues

- Interpret instructions, reports, and information

- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed

- Climb up and down ladders if needed

- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely

- Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
