## Description

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer at Myton Food Group, a leading manufacturer of food products and part of Morrisons Supermarkets, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing site in Knaresborough.

The role involves the maintenance, repair, and improvement of machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, you will conduct routine inspections, respond to machinery breakdowns, carry out machine adjustments, monitor equipment calibration, and collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment

- Responding promptly to machinery breakdowns and performing repairs

- Carrying out machine adjustments and changeovers to support production line efficiency

- Monitoring and calibrating equipment to ensure accuracy, quality, and safety standards

- Collaborating with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvement

- Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities

- Adhering to health and safety guidelines and company policies

The ideal candidate will have qualifications to NVQ level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering, strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in the FMCG industry, and proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
