## Description

We are seeking a Medical Scientific Liaison to serve as a scientific and medical leader in our organisation. As a hybrid role, you will have a mix of field and head office activities, with a focus on providing deep medical and scientific expertise to healthcare professionals, medical societies, regulators, and academia.

**Job Purpose:** The Medical Scientific Liaison will be responsible for identifying unmet medical needs, contributing to building and executing medical plans, and establishing clinical evidence. You will play a central role in providing scientific and medical leadership, ensuring the highest scientific standards during internal and external activities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop and execute medical plans aligned with medical strategies to meet unmet medical needs

- Provide scientific and medical expertise to healthcare professionals, medical societies, and regulators

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve departmental goals

- Contribute to the development and implementation of product(s)/therapeutic area(s) medical strategy

**Requirements:**

- 4-year university undergraduate degree and master's degree in life science, or equivalent experience

- Medical/pharmaceutical expert knowledge of therapeutic disease area/products

- Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders

- Understanding of compliance and relevant laws/regulations in the pharmaceutical industry

- Fluent in English and Japanese

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- MD (clinical experience, board certification preferred), or PhD in Life Science

- Experience in Medical Affairs or research

- Scientific publication experience
