## Description

We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Logistics to oversee the Logistics Planning Distribution Services team in the Service Parts Procurement Center (SPPC). The successful candidate will evaluate supply chain efficiency, identify opportunities for improvement, and coordinate with SPPC groups to minimize costs and maximize throughput.

**Job Purpose** This position oversees the Logistics Planning Distribution Services team in the Service Parts Procurement Center (SPPC). The department evaluates supply chain efficiency and identifies opportunities for improvement, coordinating with SPPC groups to minimize costs and maximize throughput throughout the supply chain. Logistics Planning supports AHM Parts Centers and Hubs with storage optimization, process and system improvements, efficiency gains, future storage capacity planning, and capital expenditure planning to maintain sufficient network capacity while minimizing cost.

**Qualifications, Experience, and Skills**

- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations, or equivalent experience

- 7 years of experience in distribution, warehouse, and/or logistics

- 5 years of leadership/supervisory experience

- Strong knowledge of Honda PC / Hub network operations and Honda systems (WMS)

- Strong computer skills including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project)

- Proficient in Business Objects

- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills

- Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate at multiple levels
