## Description

We are seeking an Optical Packaging Test Engineer to join our Advanced Technology Group (ATG). As an Optical Packaging Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing optical packages for NVIDIA's products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computational methods for advanced manufacturing and proficiency in one of the underlying fields, such as data visualization, optical testing, or optical systems.

**Responsibilities:**

- Benchtop testing using advanced optical test equipment

- Updating testing methodologies and optical equipment

- Creating new documentation to standardize workflow and procedures

- Data collection and visualization of optical parameters in test chips

- Collaborate with multi-functional teams within NVIDIA and define optical package testing requirements

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science, Data Science, Physics or related fields or equivalent experience with 2+ years of work experience

- Experience with optical test equipment like lasers, OPM, BRM, and optical switches

- Knowledge in optical connector standards

- Basic photonic device knowledge

- Strong problem-solving skills

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience with data visualization using JMP

- Basic knowledge of Python

- Fiber industry experience

NVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package. The base salary range is $88,000 - $149,500 per year.
