## About the Role

As a Product Engineering Manager at Twitch, you will lead a team to build products, features, and experiences that enable creators to earn a living doing what they love. You will work across the stack and functions, taking high ownership of desired outcomes and finding the simplest solutions.

## Responsibilities

- Lead a team of engineers to design, build, and operate full-stack applications.

- Establish a clear vision for your team and generate urgency to deliver for customers.

- Focus on delivering results, even if it means disrupting processes or protocols.

- Articulate behaviors that grow careers and keep a people development radar active.

- Make conscious choices, overcome challenges, and constructively parse proposals.

- Adjust gracefully to change while maintaining team energy and focus.

## Requirements

- Track record of leading teams to design, implement, and operate consumer-facing full-stack applications.

- 8+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years of people management experience.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Experience with web services, cloud infrastructure, and system design.

- Ability to attract, hire, and retain engineering talent.

- Comfortable operating in an ambiguous and ever-changing environment.

- Impact-oriented and product engineering leader mindset.

## Nice to Have

- Hands-on experience with Golang, AWS Cloud Infra, and/or React.

- Experience building Machine Learning or AI applications.

- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
