## Description

As a Senior Cardiac Physiologist at London Medical, part of Bupa, you will lead the day-to-day operational and clinical management of the cardiology service.

You will perform and interpret a range of cardiac diagnostic investigations, including Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE) examinations, 12-lead ECGs, Exercise Treadmill Tests, 24-hour Holter Monitoring, and Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring.

You will also lead and develop a small team of Cardiac Physiologists and Cardiac Associates, and collaborate with consultants, senior clinicians, and operational leaders to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading the day-to-day operational and clinical management of the cardiology service

- Performing and interpreting cardiac diagnostic investigations

- Leading and developing a small team of Cardiac Physiologists and Cardiac Associates

- Developing and implementing clinical protocols, policies, and governance processes

- Supporting departmental readiness for CQC inspections

- Monitoring quality standards, undertaking audits, and driving continuous service improvement

Essential qualifications and experience:

- BSc (Hons) in Clinical Cardiac Physiology, Healthcare Science (Cardiac Physiology), or equivalent qualification

- BSE Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE) Level 2 Accreditation or EACVI Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography Certification

- Significant post-qualification clinical experience

- Experience performing and reporting echocardiograms independently

- Experience carrying out ECGs, Holter monitoring, BP monitoring, and Exercise Treadmill Tests

- Leadership or supervisory experience within a cardiac diagnostics setting
