## Description

Disney Consumer Products (DCP) brings the magic of Disney's beloved stories, franchises, and characters to families and fans worldwide. As a 3D Modeling Intern, you will produce character artwork for three-dimensional product applications and work on projects with the team.

This exciting internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2027 to June 2027.

**Responsibilities**

- Develop 3D character models for consumer products across multiple properties and product types

- Prepare computer files for manufacturing processes in accordance with client/vendor specifications

- Archive project files within the standards established by the 3D Team

- Operate and maintain 3D printers for rapid prototyping and high-resolution 3D outputs for manufacturing

- Contribute to new product ideas and participate in brainstorming sessions

- Maintain high character art standards

**Requirements**

- Demonstrate high-quality 3D modeling skills in ZBrush

- Possess strong creative digital literacy in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

- Understand the principles of cartooning and cartoon animation

- Have a baseline knowledge of Character Art

- Previous exposure to multiple mediums (sculpting, painting, and traditional/digital drawing)

- Proven Strong concepting skills

- Passion for Disney Characters and Storytelling and how they translate to products

- Fresh and inventive creative problem solver

- Understanding and awareness of marketplace trends

- Able to present creative concepts in both formal and informal settings

- A Portfolio submission that clearly demonstrates the ability to translate 2D concepts to 3D

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Skill in Cinema 4D

- Proficiency in hard surface modeling in one of the following (Maya, SolidWorks, Rhino3D)

**Education**

- Junior or Senior year preferred

- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Animation, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related art field
