## Description

We are seeking an External Partnerships Analyst to act as the central hub for collaborative efforts with external entities such as universities, government agencies, and consortia.

The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring internal and external compliance, financial oversight, and seamless communication with external partners and internal technical teams.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing project scope, calculating return on investment, and obtaining Director approval

- Leading project kick-offs, establishing rules of engagement, and managing checkpoints

- Serving as the primary bridge between internal technical teams and corporate functions like Legal, Finance, and Portfolio

- Ensuring formal termination, including final invoice calculation and intellectual property management

- Proactively creating and maintaining dashboards to provide valuable insights

Additionally, the External Partnerships Analyst will be responsible for:

- Managing project requirements under U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Transportation (DOT), etc.

- Supporting annual Ford compliance audit support by preparing R&A's Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA)

- Collaborating with finance to calculate annual direct and indirect rates for preparing the Annual Incurred Cost Submission

The ideal candidate will have:

- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field

- 3+ years of experience in project management, operations, or contract administration

- Strong understanding of project budget and ROI/TARR calculations

- Knowledge of Intellectual Property (IP) management and trade/export controls

- Experience handling U.S. Federal grants and federal regulation compliance
