## Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to the development of future vehicles and innovative technical solutions. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will work on exciting development projects in the automotive industry, from concept development to finished product, with some of the leading players in the industry.

**Responsibilities:** Depending on the assignment, your tasks as a mechanical design engineer may include:

- Mechanical design and product development of components and systems

- CAD design and creation of technical documentation

- Technical problem-solving and implementation of technical investigations

- Work with verification, quality activities, and development processes

- Collaboration with suppliers and other stakeholders throughout the development chain

- Contributing to ensuring robust, manufacturable, and cost-effective design solutions

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, or equivalent

- At least 3 years of experience in the automotive industry

- Experience with CAD tools such as CATIA V5, Siemens NX, or Creo

- Experience with PLM systems such as Teamcenter or Windchill

- Good understanding of product development processes and component design

- Experience with technical documentation and release of design documentation

- Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaboration with suppliers

- Fluent English, spoken and written

- B driver's license

**Nice to Have:**

- Knowledge of GD&T

- Experience with DFM/DFA, DFMEA, and tolerance analysis

- Experience with verification and validation

- Knowledge of quality methods and product development processes in the automotive industry

- Swedish language skills, spoken and written
