## Description

We are looking for a Senior Engineer Java/Bigdata to join our Treasury Technology team in Pune, India. As a Vice President, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating our Treasury trading, balance management, and Liquidity Reporting ecosystem.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Work with clients to deliver high-quality software within an agile development lifecycle

- Define and evolve the architecture of components and contribute to architectural decisions

- Bring deep industry knowledge into the Feature Team to understand problems and leverage design patterns

- Contribute to wider domain goals to ensure flow and consistent standards

- Comfortable navigating urgency, ambiguity, and fast-changing priorities

- Work with robust engineering practices and solid software engineering background

- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)

**Leadership Responsibilities:**

- Leading and collaborating across teams

- Team management

- Mentoring and teaching

- Discovering new techniques and helping others to adopt them

- Leading by example

**Requirements:**

- Strong programming skills in Java, with experience in Python, Scala a plus

- Experience developing back-end components, including real-time report generation and batch processing

- Strong performance tuning capabilities

- Experience in high-volume data processing/ETL using Java

- Experience working with Relational Databases – ideally Oracle Exadata

- Experience working in an Agile-based team – ideally Scrum

- Big Data framing and analysis

- A track record of building scalable and maintainable applications
