## Description

We are seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to join our Finance team at Float. As a Strategic Finance Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Finance and own the analytical engine behind our financial planning, reporting, and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

- Business Partnering: Build working relationships with GTM, Product, and People teams. Understand the key drivers of their work and translate financial data into recommendations they can act on

- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Own the production of accurate, timely financial results. Build variance analyses and surface insights on business performance, identifying where we're on track and where we need to course correct

- Forecasting and Modelling: Maintain and continuously improve Float's core financial models, rolling forecasts, and quarterly budget setting

- Strategic Finance Analysis: Support capital allocation decisions, unit economics tracking, and investment case analysis. Help translate financial data into clear recommendations on where Float should and shouldn't be placing its bets

- Ad Hoc Executive Analysis: Respond to analytical requests from the CEO and exec team with speed and quality

Requirements:

- 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or strategic finance at a high-growth tech or fintech company

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CPA, MBA or advanced degree preferred

- Strong cross-functional partner with advanced financial modeling and analytical skills

- Deep understanding of financial statements, key metrics, and forecasting techniques specific to the technology industry

- Strong grasp of SaaS and fintech metrics: CAC, LTV, payback periods, gross margin, and sales efficiency
