## Description

We are seeking a full-time Security Officer to join our team at Arena Shopping Park in Coventry. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our customers and tenants.

**Responsibilities:**

- Interact with visitors and tenants, providing excellent customer service

- Conduct regular patrols of the shopping centre

- Manage incidents in accordance with site policies and procedures

- Liaise with the site control room and respond to incidents

- Report any unsecure areas of the site

- Deal efficiently with emergencies

- Monitor and surveil suspect individuals, logging and reporting incidents

- Maintain vigilance and highlight unauthorised access

- Adhere to radio procedures and record events in the DOB book

- Undertake other reasonable duties as required

**Requirements:**

- SIA Door Supervisor licence essential

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent time management

- Smart and well-groomed

- High level of attention to detail

- Ability to take ownership of situations

- Ability to remain calm under pressure

- Conflict management awareness

- Telephone skills

- Familiarity with patrolling and monitoring from a loss prevention aspect

- Compliance with Health & Safety and fire prevention procedures

- Adaptability and proactive attitude
