## Description

Join Cisco's wireless Technical Marketing Engineering (TME) team as a Technical Marketing Engineer and play a critical role in the rapid growth and expansion of their wireless networking business.

As a wireless Technical Marketing Engineer, you will be a subject matter expert in multiple wireless technologies (cloud and on-prem), diving deep into the product and architectural vision.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Promoting product value by crafting compelling technical stories and detailing how things work.

- Setting up lab systems to support enablement, training, and educational activities.

- Supporting large test environments and operations as part of the overall product development with product managers and engineering.

- Guiding the creation of field and customer-facing technical collateral.

- Training and collaborating with sales teams on technical products.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

- 5+ years of experience in Wi-Fi testing or operations within enterprise wireless and networking solutions.

- Strong foundation in the fundamentals of computer networking (VLANs, DHCP, TCP, UDP, VoIP).

- Strong foundation of 802.11 wireless standards, channels, and specs on 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz.

- Good understanding of customer deployments and applying those learnings to in-house testing and validations.

- Practical communication skills and proven track record of collaboration with stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications include:

- BS/MS in Computer Networking, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.

- Experience in product performance testing or QA.

- Experience in configuring enterprise wireless access points.

- Experience with AI-based tools for workflow optimizations.

- Experience in working with Jenkins and Jira.

- Proficiency in writing quality code with one of the programming or scripting languages such as Ruby, Python, etc.
