## Description

Toast is seeking a Director of People Analytics to turn trusted people data into business decisions about its workforce, and to strengthen the business impact of Toast's People programs.

The successful candidate will lead a team across data engineering, analytics, data science, and employee listening, based in the US and India. They will report to the leader of Talent Infrastructure and work closely with Business Leaders, People Leadership, Finance, IT, and AI and data partners.

Key responsibilities include:

- Setting and communicating the vision, North Star, and roadmap for People Analytics

- Building lasting partnerships with leaders across Toast's major business areas and the People team

- Designing and running program impact measurement with Finance

- Leading, developing, and retaining a distributed team

- Preparing governance-grade workforce analysis for senior leadership and board committees

Requirements include:

- 10+ years in people analytics, workforce analytics, or business analytics

- 4+ years leading teams of analysts, engineers, or data scientists

- Business credibility and a track record of analysis that changed a senior business leader's decision

- Strong storytelling and translation skills

- Experience with data strategy ownership and program impact measurement

Toast offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including a base salary range of $195,000-$312,000 USD, depending on skills, experience, and geographic location.
