## Description

The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Mission Systems Software Developer (Experienced & Senior) to join Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) in Daytona Beach, Florida. BDS is a global leader in the development, production, maintenance, and enhancement of fixed-wing and rotary wing aircraft, commercial and government satellites, human spaceflight programs, and weapons.

As a Mission Systems Software Developer, you will be responsible for supporting software development on agile teams tasked with integrating and implementing solutions onto a platform. You will develop high-fidelity simulation and environment software and tool sets to enable rapid development, test, and deployment of high-quality software solutions for the war-fighter and other customers.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting software development on agile teams

- Developing high-fidelity simulation and environment software and tool sets

- Using analytical problem-solving skills to resolve problems

- Applying engineering knowledge to continuously improve processes and tools

- Working across program stakeholders and subject matter experts in various engineering disciplines

- Providing technical leadership over supporting junior engineers

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of professional experience with software development languages such as Ada, C, C++, C#, JAVA, and Python. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics, and 9+ years of related work experience.

The salary range for this position is:

- Experienced: $118,150.00 - $159,850.00

- Senior: $149,600.00 - $202,400.00
