## Description

We are seeking a Senior Engineer - Geotechnical to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

As a Senior Engineer - Geotechnical, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality services to our clients, providing technical expertise and leadership on geotechnical projects.

Responsibilities:

- Develop technically competent reports using efficient working practices to provide industry-leading services to clients.

- Support project delivery, including financial analysis, client liaison, public and statutory body consultation, quality control, and management of specialists, contractors, and sub-consultants.

- Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary teams working on geotechnical projects, providing professional advice to build relationships and raise the profile of the geotechnical division.

- Effectively manage and deliver project work with robust project financial management, having budget responsibility for project delivery.

- Ensure compliance with accepted methods and legislation, including CDM, and operate in accordance with WSP's corporate health & safety, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards.

- Undertake own continuing professional development and contribute to the development of others across the team.

Requirements:

- Master's degree in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical Engineering / Soil Mechanics and Foundation engineering as specialization.

- Sound understanding of geotechnical engineering, with broad understanding of underlying principles and substantial project management experience of medium-sized projects.

- Proven previous experience of metro projects, including underground elements design, ground movement assessment, embedded retaining systems design, and diaphragm wall designs.

- Experience with geotechnical software, including deep and shallow foundations, embedded and gravity retaining walls, earthworks/slope stability, and reinforced earthworks.

- Proficiency with geotechnical software for data management, review, and presentation.

- Excellent report-writing and client liaison skills.

Desired Skills:

- Hands-on experience with geotechnical software like XDISP, GEOSTUDIO, Repute 2.5, WALLAP, Settle 3D, Slide 2, Plaxis 2D, and Plaxis 3D.

- Knowledge in Engineering Geology or equivalent demonstrable experience.

- Chartered Engineer from a reputed professional body membership (preferably ICE, UK) or working towards chartered engineer.
