As a Front End Pharmacy Technician with Omnicare, you will perform order entry tasks and collaborate with other team members in the medication dispensing process at our closed-door pharmacy.

**Day In The Life:**

As a Front End Pharmacy Technician, you will:

- Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required

- Calculate and verify correct dosages based on prescriptions

- Assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions to ensure timely returns

- Provide dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other flagged items

- Create and maintain accurate customer records

**The Team:**

Omnicare provides care to those in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings.

**Required Qualifications:**

- Certification/licensure/registration as a pharmacy technician or as required by state law

- One or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Prior experience in the long-term care industry

- PTCB National Certification

**Education:**

- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

**Anticipated Weekly Hours:** 24

**Time Type:** Part-time

**Pay Range:** $17.00 - $31.30
