## Description

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Full Stack Engineer.

In this role you will work in a team of 8 developers within the Hong Kong Structured Products Technology Team to help build strategic Equity Derivatives trading infrastructure.

You will excel in AI-enabled development and have a proven track record of writing high-quality code, following modern best practices, and proposing solutions to a technical and business audience.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Improving controls over the Equity Derivatives trading and/or operations tools, which will involve analysing, understanding existing tools (Excel/VBA) and either re-designing/re-writing them in a target framework in Java/Kotlin or partially re-designing them to start the path towards demise

- Managing end to end projects, such as requirement gathering, development, UAT, deployment and supporting users post deployment

- Working on local and global tactical and semi strategic platforms

To be successful you will need:

- Excellent AI-enabled development experience with OO or functional programming styles in Java and Kotlin

- A passion to drive the adoption of modern best practices including test driven development, devops, agile methodologies

- The ability to own the entire project cycle and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders

- Motivation towards understanding further the Equity Derivatives business

- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English

- Experience of equity derivatives products either Derivative Pricing or Risk Management

- Knowledge of containerisation / orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes would be advantageous

- Experience of using noSql databases such as MongoDB

- Up to date strategic skills in event-driven architecture and web services
