## Description

The Meriden Hospital in Coventry, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their team in the Pharmacy department.

This is a part-time role for 24 hours a week, with a flexible shift pattern.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Dispensing and preparing medicines accurately in accordance with prescriptions and legal requirements

- Supplying medications to wards, theatres, and outpatient departments, ensuring safe and timely distribution

- Participating in ward-based activities, including stock top-ups, medicines reconciliation, and patient counselling (within scope)

- Maintaining appropriate levels of stock across all areas of the pharmacy and clinical units

- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and legislation, including GPhC standards, health and safety, and infection prevention

- Communicating effectively with pharmacy colleagues, nursing staff, consultants, and patients

- Maintaining registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)

To be considered for this role, applicants should meet the following criteria:

- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)

- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy Service Skills (or equivalent qualification)

- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare pharmacy setting

- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

- Good communication and teamwork abilities

The salary for this role is up to £28,000.00 FTE per year, depending on level of experience, training, and qualification.
