## Description

We are seeking a Medical Authorizations Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis.

Cigna Healthcare is a global leader in health insurance, committed to improving the health, wellbeing, and peace of mind of individuals.

The successful candidate will provide support to the medical authorizations and reimbursement area.

**Responsibilities**

- Parameterize declared pathologies in health questionnaires.

- Identify and parameterize medical coding associated with declared pathologies and health conditions.

- Manage parameterization and automation projects for the Health Management Directorate.

- Manage medical authorizations, reimbursements, and healthcare expenditure control.

**Requirements**

- At least 5 years of experience in medical authorization management within the insurance, hospital, or healthcare sector.

- Advanced computer skills.

- Analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different areas of the organization.

- Experience in healthcare management and operations.

- Knowledge of health risk underwriting in health insurance companies.

- Experience in medical expense control.

- Ability to write protocols, procedures, and technical documentation.
