## Description

S&P Global Energy, a division of S&P Global, is seeking a Scrum Master to facilitate the adoption of Agile methodology in their software engineering practices.

The ideal candidate will have experience in coaching teams to use Agile/Scrum practices and values, assessing Scrum maturity, and removing impediments.

Responsibilities:

- Coach the team and organization to use Agile/Scrum practices and values

- Assess Scrum maturity and coach the team to higher levels of maturity

- Remove impediments and guide the team to do so

- Build a trusting and safe environment for problem-solving

- Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution

- Assist with internal and external communication

- Shield the team from outside distractions

- Support and educate the Product Owner

- Lead team efforts in relentless improvement

Requirements:

- First-level Scrum Master certification (PSM I)

- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master

- Experience working in a SAFe environment

- Knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, and continual improvement

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Experience with tools like Azure DevOps, Confluence, MS Teams, SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications:

- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification

- Knowledge of other Agile approaches

- Experience with Agile techniques like User Stories, ATDD, TDD

- Previous experience as a team lead
