## Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer, C++ (12 Month Temporary) to join our EA Sports FC Ultimate Team. As a C++ Engineer, you will work on the client side of the FC Ultimate Team game mode, using C++ technology. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing features, maintaining and testing code, and collaborating with server engineers and designers.

Responsibilities:

- Design and implement features for EA Sports FC Ultimate team game mode

- Design, maintain, implement, test and debug code, pipelines and other Ultimate Team related sub-components and packages

- Work with Server Engineers, Production and Interface Designers to gather requirements and write technical design specifications

- Report to one of the EA Sports FC ultimate team's managers and work with peers to develop FC Ultimate team features

Requirements:

- 4+ years experience in C++ software development

- Object-oriented programming experience

- Experience in UI technologies (Qt, Unity or Unreal UI frameworks or web front-end development) is desirable

- Familiarity with ActionScript and scripting languages (Python, Lua), C# and SQL is desirable

- Demonstrates curiosity and openness toward new technologies

- Ability to work with existing and unfamiliar code

- Strong partnerships with peers and stakeholders
