## Description

Conviva Specialty Care, a subsidiary of Humana Inc., is seeking an Outpatient General Cardiologist to work onsite at the Conviva clinic in Orlando, FL. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Cardiology and work Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm.

The role involves evaluating patients with cardiovascular diseases and conditions, managing chronic cardiovascular conditions, interpreting cardiovascular diagnostic studies, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with primary care providers and specialists.

Responsibilities:

- Evaluate patients with cardiovascular diseases and conditions

- Manage chronic cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and hypertension

- Interpret cardiovascular diagnostic studies, including ECGs, echocardiograms, ambulatory monitoring, and stress testing

- Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based clinical guidelines

- Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, advanced practice providers, and care teams to coordinate patient care

- Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation

Requirements:

- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine

- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease

- Valid, unrestricted license in the state of practice (or willing to obtain)

- At least 2 years of outpatient cardiology experience

- Current unrestricted DEA license, or must obtain

- Diagnosing and managing cardiovascular diseases and conditions

- Working in a collaborative, team-based care environment

- Working with Medicare and senior populations

- Training or certification in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, or cardiovascular imaging
