## Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista / Front of House Assistant to join the team at the Café within the Goodwood Art Foundation. As a Barista, you will play a key role in ensuring guests enjoy high-quality beverages and friendly, efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and speciality beverages

- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment confidently

- Take customer orders accurately and process payments

- Maintain a clean, tidy, and hygienic coffee bar and work area

- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards

- Restock supplies and support with inventory as needed

- Provide warm, attentive customer service and respond to guest inquiries

- Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene standards

What We're Looking For:

- Previous barista experience (refresher training available)

- Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and espresso-based drinks

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment

- Excellent attention to detail and consistency

- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills

- Positive, friendly attitude with a genuine 'can-do' approach

- Proactive and able to take responsibility for your work
