## Description

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will support the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.

**Responsibilities**

- Design, develop, and improve software using various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues.

- Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance optimisation.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.

- Participate in code reviews, promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing, and stay informed about industry technology trends and innovations.

- Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.

- Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

- Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well-developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver work that impacts the whole business function.

**Requirements**

- Experience developing medium-to-large Java applications (8-10 years).

- Core Java, multi-threading, Spring, Spring Boot, and working knowledge of API development using REST/SOAP-based services.

- Knowledge of HTTP protocol, web services, API integrations, data pipelines, and event-driven architecture (Kafka/Any Messaging system).

- Unix hands-on for simple scripts, checking logs/processes, etc.

- Strong knowledge of SQL (Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL).

- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS preferred) with familiarity in containerization, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.

- Experience working in an Agile development methodology environment (preferably Scrum/Kanban).

- Experience developing effective and interactive front-end UI using React JS or Angular.

- Utilising tools such as Gitlab, Vscode, IntelliJ/Eclipse, and JIRA.

**Additional Relevant Skills**

- Experience with Python-based development.

- Experience building systems in trading, banking, and/or financial organisations.

- Taking business and functional requirements and translating them into technical and functional designs for Java and API-based projects.
