ACCEL Schools is hiring a highly qualified Spanish Teacher at West Park Bilingual Academy in Cleveland, Ohio. The teacher will provide a superior education for all students.

West Park Bilingual Academy serves families throughout West Cleveland with a college prep program emphasising hands-on, project-based learning and bilingual instruction. The school prioritises students' social and emotional well-being and offers community partnerships and a specialised school staff.

Responsibilities include:

- Preparing and delivering lesson plans, modifying them as needed

- Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all students

- Maintaining accurate records of students' progress and development

- Utilising research-based best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction

- Managing student behaviour in the classroom

- Creating a positive classroom environment

- Implementing school-wide culture expectations and norms

- Communicating with families about student growth

- Incorporating technology skills into daily classroom practice

- Participating in non-instructional activities and collaborating with colleagues

Requirements:

- Active Ohio teaching license in the relevant content area

- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field

- Comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to manage confidential information and supervise students

- Passing federal and state criminal background checks

- Experience working in an urban environment
