## Description

Relay is fundamentally reshaping how goods move in an online era. As a technology-enabled parcel carrier, we deliver parcels from retailers to end customers more efficiently than incumbents. Our mission is to free commerce from friction.

We are looking for a Head of Capital to run how Relay raises equity and works with its investors. The next round is planned for Q2/Q3 2027, and it will be won on evidence. You will be the person who makes it a system, building the processes to raise multiple rounds of capital in the future.

Responsibilities:

- Build the investor map and run the transaction with the CEO and CFO

- Create and maintain the investor-facing model, scenarios, unit economics, and use of funds

- Refresh the deck, KPI pack, and data room every quarter

- Write investor and board updates, answer existing investors' questions, and track promises

- Build relationships with investors to source future rounds

- Read the market and advise the leadership team on what Relay must show and by when

Requirements:

- Experience running a growth-stage equity round from inside a company or working on several from the investing side

- Ability to build an investor map, write investor materials, and create financial models

- Experience with term sheets, data rooms, and investor relations

- Strong technical fundamentals and entrepreneurial drive

Nice to have:

- Experience in logistics, delivery, marketplaces, or another operations-heavy business

- Time at a growth-stage fund, a tech-focused bank, or a private-capital adviser before going in-house

- Investor relations between rounds at a private company
