## Description

The Assistant Vice President, Data Analytics in the Chief Data Office (CDO) of Information Technology Divisions leads the planning, coordination, and delivery of data analytics projects to enable the HKEX data strategy and vision, and build out the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP).

Key duties include:

- Leading project teams and managing end-to-end delivery of data analytics projects

- Collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver data platform capabilities

- Managing data initiatives by tracking progress and risks

- Promoting compliant and high-quality data reuse on the enterprise platform

- Coordinating with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to support implementation and delivery activities

- Driving the implementation with cloud and open-source capabilities to enable data management and data governance

- Applying hybrid project management approaches, leveraging agile tools within SDLC phases

- Coordinating with the data engineering function to ensure efficient use of technical tools and internal resources

The ideal candidate will have:

- A bachelor's degree in technology, engineering, or a related discipline

- At least 6 years of experience in data analytics, IT development, or project management, preferably within large enterprises and the capital markets or financial services industry

- Strong technical capabilities and proven experience in team management and project delivery

- Experience with SDLC disciplines, Agile methodologies, and leading cross-functional teams

- A solid technical background with hands-on experience in software development and data-related technologies

- Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture requirements and end-to-end technology stacks

- Proficiency in JupyterHub or equivalent data science workbenches

- Familiarity with native cloud technologies, data security, data lineage, and data management tools
