## Description

As a Software Engineer Intern at Electronic Arts' Slingshot Studios in Hyderabad, you will report to the Technical Director or Lead Engineer.

EA Mobile creates games for mobile devices, social networks, and online environments that deliver seamless play anytime, anywhere, on any device. The studio has been leading innovation in Mobile Game development and Live Service, with popular games such as Covet Fashion, Need for Speed No Limits, and Plants vs Zombies.

Responsibilities:

- Participate in building new game features

- Collaborate with designers and product managers to provide world-class experiences to players

- Improve code performance, focusing on reducing load times and improving frame rates

- Participate in code reviews and retrospectives to improve code bases and processes

- Engage in technical discussions to plan big tech-driven features and roadmap

- Write good documentation and follow coding standards

Qualifications:

- Solid foundation of data structures and algorithms

- Strong programming skills

- Ability to channel curiosity into targeted learning

- Creative problem-solving skills

- Familiarity with modern Agentic AI coding harnesses

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience making and playing games

- Proficiency in C++/C#/Java or PHP

- Understanding of 3D Mathematics used in games

- Knowledge of RESTful API
