## Description

We are seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Advisor to support our Canadian site in Ste Foy. The successful candidate will provide guidance and support on health, safety, and environmental issues, working closely with site leaders, engineers, operations teams, and colleagues across the organization.

The role involves maintaining and improving the site's health, safety, and environment (HSE) programs to ensure compliance with Canadian and Quebec regulations and company standards. Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting risk assessments, workplace inspections, and industrial hygiene controls

- Investigating incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions

- Designing and delivering clear and practical HSE training and awareness programs for operators, contractors, and site teams

- Providing HSE expertise for projects, process changes, and start-up activities to ensure safe designs and operational transfers

- Preparing and updating regulatory documents, internal reports, and HSE performance indicators

We are looking for someone with a strong background in HSE, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. The ideal candidate will have:

- A bachelor's degree in engineering, occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field

- At least 5-7 years of experience in HSE in a manufacturing, laboratory, pharmaceutical, or regulated environment

- Demonstrated experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and corrective action management

- Knowledge of Canadian and Quebec regulations and industry best practices

- Excellent French language skills, with English language proficiency an asset
