## Description

We are seeking a Senior Parts Warehouse Operator to support the Warehouse Supervisor in managing auto parts and inventory for Salt Lake City's fleet vehicles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Receiving, verifying, and organizing stock

- Maintaining accurate records and operating equipment like forklifts and barcode scanners

- Assisting customers with parts selection and tracking inventory using Fleet Management software

- Ensuring timely orders from vendors to minimize vehicle downtime

- Providing superior customer service to fleet technicians

- Working with contracted and non-contracted vendors to obtain the best price and fill parts orders as fast as possible

- Tracking all parts orders to maintain the earliest delivery dates

- Maintaining organized records of parts requests from technicians

- Familiarizing with inventory cycle counts and other inventory control processes

- Issuing needed parts by billing parts and shop supplies to work orders in fleet management software

- Operating computers, printers, scanners to perform daily duties

- Receiving and verifying incoming stock orders to check for discrepancies

- Maintaining a clean workspace and warehouse

- Driving a city vehicle to pick up parts from vendors as needed

**Salary:** $20.68 - $31.09
