## Description

We are seeking a Training and Accreditation Manager to educate and upskill operational colleagues through training, coaching, and knowledge transfer initiatives.

**Purpose of the role** As a Training and Accreditation Manager at Barclays, you will develop and implement training programmes, workshops, and other initiatives to support the knowledge transfer and skill development of banking operational teams.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Design and deliver training programmes, workshops, and other initiatives to coach and support operational teams

- Monitor the effectiveness of training programmes and make recommendations for improvement

- Identify industry trends and developments to implement best practice in learning and development

- Conduct training needs assessments and collaborate across the bank to identify gaps in knowledge and skills

- Participate in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness in relation to learning and development

- Identify risks and issues internally within the team and escalate appropriately

- Maintain Barclays branding and adhere to governance, standards, and policies

**Assistant Vice President Expectations**

- Advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness

- Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well-developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver on work that impacts the whole business function

- Set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives, appraise performance, and determine reward outcomes

- Demonstrate leadership behaviours to create an environment for colleagues to thrive and deliver to a consistently excellent standard

**Requirements**

- Experience with coaching and development skills, supporting and mentoring colleagues, and identifying skills, knowledge, and training gaps

- Previous experience of managing risk and strengthening controls

- Proven experience consulting on complex, escalated people issues and advising People Leaders

- Proven experience assessing training programmes and implementing improvements

- Working knowledge of risk management policies and procedures

**Desirable Skills**

- Presentation skills: ability to prepare and deliver clear, impactful presentations

- Experience in Fin Crime and Business banking knowledge
